How to Use the Deck

3. The Question is Set: The moment you draw one of the 19 "special" Major Arcana cards, the hunt changes. This card becomes the "Question Card," establishing the core theme. The status text will update to reflect this.
4. The Answer is Revealed: Continue drawing. The moment you draw a second "special" Major Arcana card, the reading is complete. This is the "Answer Card."
5. The I Ching Reading: The specific identity and the unique rotational state of all three layers of the Answer Card are used to calculate a result from 4,096 possibilities. A modal window will appear, showing you the Primary Hexagram (the current situation) and the Changing Hexagram (the direction it is moving in).
6. The Path Shifts: In rare cases (8 out of 4,104 possibilities), the Answer Card may land on a "null state." This is not an error. It signifies that the universe has shifted the focus of your query. The original Question Card is discarded, your current Answer Card becomes the new Question Card, and the hunt continues with a new, refined focus.
